About Us
SysMeC is a joint centre between NUS Medicine and Duke-NUS Medical School with the aim to deliver mass spectrometry solutions to research and clinical applications.
The main mission of the centre is to advance metabolism research through innovations in mass spectrometry-based analytical workflows and data science solutions, and integration of metabolomics and lipidomics with other biochemical data for comprehensive systems-level investigation.
Born of their unique history over the past decade, the two laboratories have built their own research portfolios that are now considered complementary for each other. Through collaboration and harmonisation, we strive to offer cutting-edge analytical solutions for a broad spectrum of small molecules and informatics tools to the local biomedical research ecosystem and international partners.
