SysMeC is deeply committed to advancing the understanding of metabolic regulation through the generation of comprehensive molecular atlases across human and animal systems. Our research integrates metabolomic and lipidomic datasets with complementary genomic, transcriptomic, and proteomic information to achieve a holistic view of biological function. Leveraging advanced in-house bioinformatic pipelines, SysMeC applies global profiling strategies to map tissue-specific metabolic rewiring and to elucidate systemic alterations in interorgan metabolic communication under diverse physiological, developmental, and pathological contexts.

Through these efforts, we have established multi-tissue metabolome atlases in mouse models of cardiometabolic and inflammatory diseases, as well as characterized the tissue–plasma metabolome interface in large-scale human cohorts. These high-resolution molecular maps serve as foundational resources that facilitate cross-species comparisons, biomarker discovery, and mechanistic insights into disease progression. Collectively, our work contributes to the broader mission of enabling precision medicine through data-driven, systems-level understanding of metabolism.
